Music sounds better in the dark

So...it's 11:49 at night, and I'm at my computer. I'm listening to a host of dark and depressing music, so it's all good. Everything is well in the world - the planets are aligned properly....that anorexic line between love and hate has not been crossed over (well, at least not yet) and my teeth are brushed.
